I forget what brand our is but it has a rubber gasket around the door that has DEEP folds and the water collects in there. We take either a sponge or microfiber cloth and soak up the water when the laundry is done then we leave the door standing open until everything is completely dried out.
Use a diluted water/ bleach solution ( 10:1 ) for mildew that has already formed. Don't make it much stronger. The bleach might affect the rubber.How to clean mildew off of liner of front loading washing machines?
First, try to check online at the manufacturer's website for tips on that. It is a common problem.
In the meantime, to keep the mildew from forming, keep the door the machine open between uses.
