How can I get urine and mildew odors from foam couch cushions? Detergent & baking soda in the wash did nada?

change the foam cause it isn't going to come clean. The mildew is your most dangerous part of the equation and as foam is porous and ';things'; stick. Mildew can cause resperitory problems.


You may just need to scrap the couch. Or if you can save the base buy new foam to have recovered. Soak overnight in mild bleach solution.
yeah, get rid of the couch, the dog, the cat and whatever or whoever peed on the couch. get a new couch!
Time for a new couch. Don't pee on your couch anymore...that's disgusting. Or get rid of the damn cat or dog.
Use oxyclean first (diluted w/ water in a spray bottle). After that dries, use febreeze. There are also products made specifically for that purpose:

Get a new couch - you can almost always find one free on Craigslist (www.craigslist.com). FABREEZE works wonders for odors, also
